I've been trying to find the windsor over the calf in gray for several years and now it seems they're gone altogether. What is wrong with you people?

My husband has been wearing these socks forever. The charcoal is lighter than it once was, so he's resorted to black. The brown and navy are also lighter. Please bring back the darker colors. We are babying the socks he has to make them last as long as possible!

This is the only sock I am able to purchase for my husband. Black and heather gray are his staples. I hope you NEVER CHANGE THIS SOCK.
No stores seem to carry this so now my only hope is web shopping on your site.

Why in the world can't your marketing folks understand that all us baby boomers (and older) wore your original Windsor Wool midcalf socks for 25 years(+/-) and we will still buy them. We are a large potential group to sell to & cost isn't an issue. What is an issue is the current "Winsor Wool" replacements which won't stay up on a man's leg-they're junk. Read all the other Windsor wool reviews. But please bring back the originals.

I have worn mid-calf Windsor Wool socks for 20+ years until several months ago when I went to replace my old ones with new ones. (I buy 2 dozen black each time). However, now I find my only choices are the short one and the over the calf. Neither one are for me. Over the calf are too long and the short ones, are, well, too SHORT. That extra few inches of sock makes all the difference.
PLEASE BRING BACK THE WINDSOR WOOL MID-CALF.

I agree with all the writers below. It is a great pity that a sock that I've worn for 30 years is discontinued for no obvious reason.

Hi Lou, We no longer offer the 1446M. We do offer 3 socks in a Mid Calf. You can find them at the link below. They are the Fluffie, The Metropolitan, and the Canterbury. We hope you will give one a try. Please contact us through Customer Service and we'll send a sample to see if you like one. http://www.goldtoe.com/categories/GoldToe/Men/Socks/Silhouette/Mid-Calf/
I've gone to the trouble of keeping a label from socks I've purchased from you (Style 1446M) so that I know specifically what to order because I liked them, and it's all I wear. The last 3-pair set was made of less wool (53% wool, 46% nylon) than previously (65% wool, 35% nylon). Now, as far as I can tell, you've stopped offering the 1446M. Stores long ago seemed to stop carrying the 1446M, and now you! Yes, like the previous writer, it makes me angry. Yes, anger. It shows you how important the right dress socks can be to a man.

I can't imagine why you don't offer the former mid calf Windsor Wool! I used to buy them by the dozens. Bring them back!!

Well, I just got a set of mid-calf when I wanted crew! The number matches from this page (1446S, supposedly for crew, approx 7" from end bottom of heel to top, according to the crew pages), but they come to my mid-calf (my legs are long; I'm 6' tall) and are approx 13" from bottom of heel to top). I'll be returning them, so perhaps one of you who wants mid-calf should try again.
Please return the socks per our return policy. Contact GTMCSR@Gildan.com for a return label. We will test the length to see if this is an anomaly. Thank you

Why would your marketing people make such a BLUNDER?? Why change a WINNER. The old WW Mid Calf were the Best!
