There used to be several types of knee socks from Fluffy ones, to patterned socks [not fluffy but nice for cold weather], and these are the only ones left. I stocked up and bought some for my 87 yr old mother. I may buy more. They can be cuffed at the top but with my legs and my mother's the top goes to just under the knee and stays there, right where I want them. My feet at 7.5 and Mom's are 8.5 and they fit us perfectly.

I was disappointed in these socks. I've been wearing Goldtoe socks for decades. I always loved the acrylic knee socks. These socks are too big in the foot - too much extra material bunches up. I think one of the problems is that there is no spandex to make them fit better. The Woodstock argyle is so much better!

I love these socks for fall through winter with my open back mules for work or my open back Ugg clogs for casual wear. They keep my feet and calves warm. I've ordered these for several years now and gave 4 stars instead of 5 because last year when I ordered, the ribbing around the top of the sock was tight on my calves--and I could tell it was made slightly differently than years prior. I am ordering again tonight and hope that my Sundance Knee Highs will have a more comfortable top ribbing like in years past.
