  1. Favorite work sock

    This sock is thick everywhere it should be. Perfect for Steel Toe Boots. Makes long days on my feet seem a little bit shorter.
    I will give a bit of advice. My shoe size is 9 1/2 in most cases. I thought I would need a large in the sock. The large does not fit as snug as I would like on my calf. But then again I do have narrow calves. A medium would have worked much better I believe.

    Tennis can be extremely hard on your feet. Starting, stopping, forward, back, running left, running right, and the pushing off on your serving motion. Once I found Pro Thicks, I just can't play with any other socks. They are unbeatable for a combination of cushioning, moisture control, and not sliding around in your shoes. Blisters, bruised toenails, and foot cramps at night are all a thing of the past. Also, I have narrow feet. So, these socks help to keep my shoes snug without insoles, a second pair of socks, or over-torqueing the laces.

    I bought these at Academy years ago. I liked them so much that I bought 6 pairs of tall and short. They have lasted well but are starting to fall apart. I'm concerned about the comments about the seems ripping out but buying more and I'll post when I find out if that was just one production run.

    I bought 2 packages of the Powersox at Kohls. After a weeek of normal wear,the outer seam near the top of the socks ripped on almost every pair creating a hole about the size of a quarter. Has this happened to anyone else?

    These socks are great! I am buying some more today because after 5 years my others are finally starting to wear out! I've never had socks last that long. I hike frequently and these socks really protect my feet. Even though they are thick I found my feet to be drier and in better shape after a long hike. I had one or two rip at the heel when putting them on but only after a good amount of use and because I was pulling them on hard. Most pairs held up very well.
