I'll have to chime in with so many others. Have purchased goldtoe socks for many years. Just received an order of three 3 packs, and was so disappointed in the quality. It's so sad when a good product starts to decline in quality and you feel helpless. Well at least I can state my opinion and hope someone listens.

I bought my husband Gold Toe Fluffies for 20+ years. Recently I restocked and the FIRST time out of the dryer, they had strings coming from the top and the body of the socks, gold strings coming from the toe, the knit was rough looking and the colors so changed I had trouble matching pairs. Gold Toe Fluffies in his sock drawer 5+ years old look lots better than these new ones. No more Gold Toe Fluffies will be bought by me!

I have been wearing gold toe socks for a long time. you need to put more colors in the extended size catagory to get that fifth star.tcfpdg

I wear a size 14 shoe and need the larger size. it seems implausible to me that the factory does not have the size I need. I'm glad that I'm not an employee or shareholder. The worst thing you can do in business is to give a ready to buy customer a reason to shop elsewhere. They are losing my confidence as well as my business.

I wear a 14 dress shoe. I have worn Gold Toe for over thirty years. It is getting hard to find the larger size in the colors I want. I was looking to buy about half a dozen in the following colors black (12), Charcoal (6), Brown (6) and Khaki (6). Since you do not have all the choses I want I will have to look else were. So Sad.

I would like to get fluffies in khaki and even in white for summer. I would also like to get mid-calf fluffies in additional colors.

I have used USA made Gold Toe for 20+ years.
Great socks made in the south USA.
The new imports are trouble.
Anything I can do to lower stock holder profits and get USA made goods?

I have worn almost exclusively Gold Toe socks for years. They were one of the few manufacturers that I could find extended sizes for and they really were of good quality. I am starting to wear them out and I am finding that all I can find is foreign made Gold Toes. All of the previous have been made in the USA. I will keep looking at Gold Toes but unless i see USA on the package I will buy others. Wigwam offers a full line made in the USA and I did notice that Jockey has some good looking USA socks but not sure if they have extended sizes.
P.S. After reading the other reviews I can only assume they are buying the foriegn made socks. Gold Toes sells on its past reputation, prices their socks on their past product, and makes nice returns for their shareholders.

In less than a year, these socks were threadbare. They got holes in them. And I'd bet I didn't even where them 20 times. It is a sad day: Gold toe no longer means quality.
