  1. They have gone to pot!!!

Posted by Connie on 20th Jan 2014

I use to get these (fluffies) for my husband and son. They LOVED them!!! First thing on their list for gifts, but not anymore. It is a shame. I have 4 daughters and they use to ask for goldtoe for women but they too don't like them. Too bad!!! We miss them!

  2. What? No brown?

Posted by Hank on 20th Jan 2014

I, as most of the other reviewers, am a long-time Fluffies buyer. I find myself nodding in agreement with most of their negative comments. Something dramatically bad has happened to your quality control, and what used to be a fine product no longer is. And I wonder what you have against the color brown. These negative reviews have been coming in for more than a year, and yet there is no change. Too bad.

  3. Where are they?

Posted by Sally Sue on 18th Jan 2014

My son who is on his feet a lot for his job will (or did) only wear fluffies. They wore out fast, but he loved them so much, he did not care. I wanted to buy some for Valentines day (thrill) but after reading reviews, it seems they are made in China and the quality has gone down considerably. It is almost absolutely AMAZING that the number of people who complain but no changes seem to be made by the company. I am curious why you do not change back to the original as so many people (who take time to review) complain.

  4. Quality has declined ... now made in China

Posted by Unknown on 20th Dec 2013

I've worn Gold Toe fluffies for years. Used to love them as they were soft and long lasting. With the switch to China manufacture, they now wear thin after just a few wearings. The remaining threads almost cut into my feet. Please return to your former manufacturer and former formula. I'm willing to pay more for quality. Otherwise, I'm a FORMER customer.

  5. bring back the old

Posted by David in Chicago on 9th Dec 2013

I have bought the 565E Gold Toe Cotton Fluffies (Big and Tall) for the since I starting working. I recently bought a 3 pack and it is not the same. Shame that the quality has gone down and cotton has been replaced with acrylic.

  6. No Longer Comfortable

Posted by Unknown on 3rd Sep 2013

    Gold Toe, what happened?

You used to be the Cadillac of socks, my go-to brand.

I had a pack with a single gold stitch on the toe from two years ago, now these with the entire gold toe, are completely different.

The fabric is not super soft and comfortable like the last set I bought from you.

These lastest socks get stiff and less than soft after washing.

Please bring back the old formula.

    They made my feet happy.

  7. Why can't a man get tan socks?

Posted by Nancy Dietze on 21st Jul 2013

My husband needs tan or taupe extended socks! Why don't you sell them????

  8. Same impression here. Quality has taken a nose-dive.

Posted by Rich on 8th Jul 2013

I've worn GT Fluffies for decades, and the most recent batch are cheap-cheap-cheap. They go threadbare and fall apart after a few wearings.
Please start making good socks again! Fluffies used to be a high-quality brand I could depend on.

  9. Decline in quality - sad.

Posted by Bill on 9th Mar 2013

I'll have to chime in with so many others. Have purchased goldtoe socks for many years. Just received an order of three 3 packs, and was so disappointed in the quality. It's so sad when a good product starts to decline in quality and you feel helpless. Well at least I can state my opinion and hope someone listens.

  10. What Has Happened to the Fluffies?

Posted by Unknown on 3rd Feb 2013

I bought my husband Gold Toe Fluffies for 20+ years. Recently I restocked and the FIRST time out of the dryer, they had strings coming from the top and the body of the socks, gold strings coming from the toe, the knit was rough looking and the colors so changed I had trouble matching pairs. Gold Toe Fluffies in his sock drawer 5+ years old look lots better than these new ones. No more Gold Toe Fluffies will be bought by me!
