Still waiting for the grey to return.

I'm annoyed. Annoyed that you no longer carry grey crew socks, and annoyed that when I search for grey on your website, it brings me black crew socks.

I used to buy the Grey cotton crew exclusively for my casual wear. White is for athletics, and black is what old men wear who don't care how ridiculous they look. They Grey was 92% cotton; the others 100%.
Now, the trend toward artificial fibers continues, and there's no Grey offered in anything. While your marketing department continues to think up trendy names for your socks and scratch their heads over declining sales, they miss - as so many do - the obvious: you've sacrificed quality and natural fibers chasing, well, who knows. It certainly isn't sales from me - I've gone elsewhere because I'm willing to pay for quality.
The great irony of this strategy is that with an Internet-based store, GoldToe could easily provide a much-wider selection, as well as retain the products former customers relied on, but can no longer get, without having to maintain widely distributed inventory at retail partners. That it's chosen not to do so speaks to the foresight and ability of whomever is making these decisions.

my husband has been wearing these socks for several years-- he has a sixe 13 1/2 shoe, he needs extended size in white for the gym. where are they?
You would get more stars if you had the size we need!

I wear these socks all the time; work boots, athletic shoes and occasionally to church with dress shoes when I can't find my black socks (looks goofy but better than no socks). I have run as far as 10 miles on the street at one time in these socks (yes, in my running shoes) and have had no problems in either pair of my running shoes. I also wore them in the Super Spartan race in Arizona and I never thought about my feet during the race that featured traversing 8+ miles through desert, mud, and rivers-- they were wet for 90 percent of the race.
No blisters or hot spots, no thought about what is on my feet. Very happy with these socks
