Seems like Gold Toe is "trending" to fewer colors. I have purchased these socks in the past, but can't even get the white any more; only black is now available. I have seen the same "trend" in the Metropolitan mid-calf socks which are now also only available in black and customers are providing the same feedback regards the old colors of navy, brown and grey, but no one at Gold Toe is listening. Or if they are, they don't seem to care any longer about customer satisfaction. Guess we need to look at other manufacturers.

Grey, Grey, Grey, Grey, Grey, Grey, Grey, Grey, Grey, Grey, Grey, Grey, Grey, Grey, Grey, Grey, Grey, Grey, Grey, Grey, Grey, Grey.
Get the point?
Do you really want me to send pictures of my old grey goldtoes to prove my point...... Yeah, I thought not.
I NEED NEW GREY GOLDTOES!!!!

I have looked all over to find this style of sock in gray/navy...I havent been able to find them at any store or online. Please take note that many of your loyal customers are asking for the gray color to be offered again.

I have been buying Gold Toe grey athletic socks at Penney's for years. Now they don't have them. I was sure I could get them on the internet. I am shocked and dismayed that they are not available. Please bring back the grey crew athletic socks so my feet can be happy again!

Add me to the chorus calling for the return of gray as an option. It's the one thing putting my review down to 4 stars.
Also, my last set, purchased several years ago, is finally giving out. All at once, more or less, which I guess you might expect when you buy a 6-pack all at once. The failure point on them was not the toe but the heel. If GT is looking for a place to make their next improvement on this sock, I'd say it should be to reinforce the heel as that seems to be the weak point. (As of when I bought my last set, anyway.)
I should note that my particular use case involves lots of walking around the house shoeless as I have been mostly a stay-at-home dad for the last four years or so.
I just picked up a pack of these in black today, and have just put on a pair fresh out the dryer. I figure if I can't remember when I bought the ones that are wearing out they must have worn well. :)

I love these socks and have worn them for years. I wish you still made the grey!

Black or white just doesn't cut it for me. I bought these in grey for many many years. Need grey now!

Best and longest lasting socks. I used to go through so many pair of other brands. I wear steel-toe boots for work as a mechanic. I force my feet in all directions during heavy work and these socks take a beating all day long and the toes seem to never wear out. They look like new even after a year. Unfortunately the heels are starting to wear out; if the heels had the same reinforcement as the toes do, then these socks would last a much longer time.
